Arsenal FC Vs Chelsea – Lineaciones
During the last season of the Premier League, Arsenal drew three times with Chelsea. This season, the team is looking to improve its chances and the fans are looking for a win against the Blues.
DT: Graham Potter
Defending champions Arsenal have started the new season with an impressive display and are currently sitting at the top of the table. They are a formidable team and will be going head to head with Manchester City in the Premier League.
Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat to their neighbours in the London Derby on Sunday. It was Potter’s first home defeat as Chelsea manager. Despite the scoreline, the match did have its merits. Firstly, it was a notable performance by Potter. He was also impressed with the manner in which the team won the match. He was particularly pleased with the way that the players came back after losing a 2-1 lead in the first half.
The game was played at Stamford Bridge, and the home side were missing N’Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana and Reece James.
DT: Mikel Arteta

Despite the impressive win, Mikel Arteta has been coy about his team’s chances of winning the title. And his management appears to have been backing him throughout. He took charge of his 150th game as Arsenal boss on Sunday. In the process, he also equalled the record of most appearances as a player.
There are no shortage of man of the match candidates. However, the real question is whether or not Arteta has the right personnel in the squad to help him get the job done. The last time Arsenal visited Stamford Bridge, they were relatively untroubled at the back. And Arteta has made changes to a minimum this season. He will face FC Zurich on Thursday night. If he can do this and keep a hold of the reigning champions, the team could avoid dropping into the Europa League.
Preparations for the 2022-2023 Premier League season
During the summer of last year, 20 Premier League clubs met in London to agree on the programme for the 2022/23 season. The 2022/2023 Premier League campaign will see major changes, as it is postponed to accommodate the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The FIFA World Cup in Qatar will begin on November 21, and continue through to December 18. This means that club football will be played during the winter of the northern hemisphere, which has never been done before. However, a new international break is planned for March 2023.
The domestic Premier League season will start one week later, on Boxing Day, with all matches starting simultaneously. This will help with crowd control and transport congestion.
There will also be a mid-season break during the 2022/2023 Premier League season. The break will run from November 14 to December 26. Then, the season will resume on December 26, and will end on May 28, 2023.
Preparations for the Europa League
Maurizio Sarri has picked a strong squad to face Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League final. A win for Arsenal would see them qualify for the Champions League group stages next season. However, a draw could leave them in third place in the group. That’s an attractive consolation prize.
Arsenal and Chelsea have met three times this season. Arsenal have won twice and Chelsea have lost four games. They also contested the UEFA Europa League final in May. In that match, Arsenal came back from a goal down to win 2-1.
The Premier League sides will have their preparations for next season’s campaign underway early. They are due to travel to the USA and Germany for a pre-season tour, but will be forced to return earlier because of international fixtures earlier this month.
Preparations for the USA
During the pre-season, Arsenal FC will face Chelsea at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It is one of three official matches that will take place during the month-long US tour.
The preparations for this match should be a good opportunity for any potential first-teamers. The two London clubs have clashed on a few occasions in recent years, and it is expected that the two sides will meet again in 2022.
The Florida Cup Series will culminate in a grand final between Chelsea and Arsenal. The winner will be awarded the coveted trophy. The game will be played on July 23 and will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the U.S.
The match will be shown on Paramount + in Australia. During this game, Arsenal will have the opportunity to show off their new signings, as well as the other players from their squad.
